She's a hard-nosed lady journalist in a leather pith helmet who'll stop at nothing for her story.
Here's a Pinterest board about them-- just begun.
The first two e-novellas are
THE MYSTERIOUS MADAM MORPHO
and THE PECULIAR PETS OF MISS PLEASANCE.
So we're looking for alliteration. We're partial to the letter D.
I'm digging on THE DANGEROUS DAGGERS OF DESIRE.
Do you like that, or is it too obviously euphemistic?
Because, you know, WICKED AS THEY COME isn't coy at all. :)

If anyone can come up with something better, you'll make the Acknowledgments of WICKED AFTER MIDNIGHT, also known as Blud book 3.

Why not just Daggers of Desire

Dark desires for daggers
Dark desires for dangerous daggers. Not very good.
Anything with "Daggers" in it brings to mind (for me) the Black Dagger Brotherhood series.
Hmmm. Here's a couple based on the female lead's role, rather than the male lead's (just for a change of pace):
* Delving into Darkness
* The Diehard Detective
* Digging Deep into the Dark
And if you find you the letter "D" isn't necessarily important:
* An Intriguing Inquisitor
* Incendiary Inquisition (though that reminds me of the Spanish Inquisition in a number of ways, so maybe not)
* An Incendiary Inquiry (apparently, I'm partial to "I")
* Curious Columnist of the Clockwork Carnival
* A Suspicion of Scandal
Also, if you want to use the female lead's name, like in the previous titles:
* Miss Harville's Harrowing Hunt (or The Harrowing Hunt of Miss Harvel)
* The Hard Hunting of Miss Harville (now we're getting into porn titles)
I have to say I like The Dangerous Diggers of Desire.. Just seeing that makes me want to read the book/e-novella..You rock Delilah!
