So I expect next year to see her doing those rodeo tricks -- standing on the saddle, flipping around, under and back onto the pony. Maybe a running mount from behind the animal. Onetothreesteps and UP! Onto the saddle as easily as jumping over a fire hydrant. Over by us, we're still going to be walking in a slow oval, led by a a young man who is just trying to get through his days without hearing too much screeching, or witnessing too many slices of birthday cake making unplanned reappearances after bumpy rides on ponies, camels, or giant inflatable water slides.
